Sponsor your local food bank and support the work we do in your community.
The support of local businesses can make a real difference to the food bank. We’d love your organisation to help us tackle poverty on your doorstep, and in return you will be proudly advertised as an Uttlesford Foodbank Corporate Sponsor and, dependent on level, invited to take part in team building activities.
Corporate Sponsorship Packages
We offer 3 tiers of Corporate Sponsorship:
Gold
Suggested minimum donation:
£1,500
Our Gold Package is a great way to combine a generous donation with a full-day corporate team session, based out of our Warehouse in Saffron Walden. These sessions will generally run 10am-4pm, for up to 10 people. The session will open with a tour of our Warehouse and we will share insights into what we do and how it makes a difference within the local community. Then the real fun starts – the group is divided into two teams for a Supermarket Dash Challenge, using a pre-charged card to purchase items on our Shopping List. Extra points will be gained by completing fun side quests on the way! The winning team will receive a fun trophy to mark their achievements. After the Challenge lunch will be provided and the group will work on some of the regular Warehouse tasks, such as sorting, picking and packing stock for parcels. We’ll round off the day with a Q&A with our in-house team and your volunteers will be invited to share reflections on their day with us.
As part of the Gold Package, each of your volunteers will receive a limited edition volunteer t-shirt or tote bag which they can wear with pride! We will also work with you to prepare a local press release and draft a dedicated post for socials, be listed as an official Gold corporate sponsor on our website and we will display your logo on our materials for 12 months following the date of your Supermarket Dash. You will also be permitted to use our logo on your materials for the same period.
Silver
Suggested minimum donation:
£750
Our Silver Package is best suited to those who want to align a donation with a half-day corporate team session in our Warehouse in Saffron Walden. These sessions will generally be scheduled for Tuesday or Thursday afternoons, 1:00-4:00pm, for up to 6 people.
The session will open with a tour of our Warehouse and we will share insights into what we do and how it makes a difference within the local community. Then it’s time to roll up sleeves and become part of our day-to-day team unloading crates, sorting and organising stock, picking and packing parcels ready to go out to our clients. We’ll round off the session with a Q&A with our in-house team and an opportunity for your volunteers to share reflections on the session.
As part of the Silver Package, each of your volunteers will receive a limited edition volunteer t-shirt or tote bag which they can wear with pride! As a Silver Sponsor organisation we will work with you to prepare a local press release and draft a dedicated post for socials. You will also be listed as an official corporate sponsor on our website for 12 months following the date of your donation.
Bronze
Suggested minimum donation:
£500
Our Bronze Package is ideal for those who would like to make an annual, practical and targeted donation to support our day-to-day work of creating parcels for those who are experiencing hardship. It’s an ideal way to help us top up key items of stock. Once a year we will invite your organisation to fundraise and donate £500 to help with the purchasing of stock for our parcels. This donation will help us ensure that core items are topped up at especially busy times of year. By purchasing through our partners at the Essex Affordable Food Hub in Harlow, we will be able to make your money go further than it might in a regular supermarket. Example stock items include: pasta, rice, tinned meat, vegetable and pulses, long life milk, cereal and basic personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo.
As a Bronze Sponsor we will ensure you receive timely updates to share with staff about our work, including details of how your donation has made a difference. We will prepare photos and posts to share on our socials raising awareness of your work in support of us. You will also be listed as an official corporate sponsor on our website for 6 months following the date of your donation.
