Volunteer

Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.

We have a long waiting list but are often looking for people with specific skills so please make sure you include as much information about yourself as possible to help us with processing your application. Because of the wait list please don’t be offended if we don’t get back to you immediately.

People we are always on the lookout for:

  • those based in Dunmow, Takeley and Stansted
  • people who can drive especially if they are happy driving a van and moving food around in large quantities
  • people with admin and data skills who may want a more desk based volunteering role
  • people interested in becoming trustees
